Madhvan Nayar Memories

The Founder of BITMAA-NA and President Madhavan Nayar passed away on September 4, 2019.

Below is the announcement by the Nayar Family.

Madhavan K Nayar passed away peacefully on September 4th, 2019 in the company of his three children and Teresa, his wife of 49 years. Per his wishes, Madhavan ashes will be spread in a private family ceremony at his farm in northwest Illinois. Madhavan core values live on in part through The Nayar Family Foundation, a catalyst in promoting an educated, enlightened, and tolerant society. His exceptional intellect, wisdom and sense of humor will be missed by his family and his broad circle of friends and colleagues.

BITMAA-NA Madhavan was a loving spirit, a philanthropist, loved by all and a born leader who brought people together. His love for his alma maters kept him highly engaged and allowed him to impact the lives of many.

BITMAA-NA and the entire BITM alumni community have lost a great leader. However, his legacy will remain with us forever!
